EU funded project on cultural heritage actualization was implemented

JSC “Domus luxus” and project partner JSC “Amber Queen” completed the implementation of the EU-funded project. The purpose of the project was to arrange a state-protected cultural heritage object at the Palace of the Pacu on Didžioji St. 7, Vilnius and preserve its valuable features, visualize the object, open it for visiting.

During the implementation of the project, the building facade management works, ground floor and basement premises managed heritage conservation work, wall painting conservation and restoration, and construction work. Amber Queen’s jewelry store is located on the ground floor of the converted property, and an Amber Museum is located in the basement.

During the implementation of the project the valuable features of the cultural heritage object were revealed, the rustic rust of 1677 was uncovered, and the 17th-19th century wall painting was restored inside the premises. The restored object blends harmoniously with the Old Town of Vilnius, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The project was implemented between 2018 and 2019 under measure no. 05.4.1-CPVA-K-303 Raising Public and Private Cultural Heritage
